Due to Covid19 and the inability to adequately socially distance the exposition area for the farm show, the 2021 Farm show is being cancelled. Resumption of the February farm show in 2022 is planned.
The Vesper Community Center hosts a mini farm show with local and regional vendors.
Held each year on the 2nd Saturday of February from 9am to 3pm the farm show is followed by a volunteer appreciation reception from 3pm to 4pm and both events are free and open to the public.
Implements, seed and agronomy, fuel/energy, fencing, equipment, tools and farm supplies, repair services, banking, insurance products, and other expert services will be on display and available. The farm show also provides a free opportunity for local 4H groups to make presentations and display their projects during the show.
There are booth gimmees and free raffle giveaways every hour. Delicious concessions are sold by volunteers to fundraise for the community purposes of the community center and include biscuits and gravy, grilled burgers, loaded nachos, fresh chicken noodle soup, fresh hot popped popcorn, sundaes, root beer floats, hot cocoa and a selection of other snacks and beverages.
The circa 4800 square foot facility provides space for a maximum of twenty 10×10 indoor vendor booths with additional space outside for outdoor displays.
The center is located at 1247 N 120th Rd Lincoln KS 67455 in Vesper Township Lincoln County located right off HWY 18 in Vesper.
