PUBLIC EVENT NOTICE: On Saturday April 17th, the community center is being rented for the Rylan Gier Benefit dinner, raffle and silent auction. It is being held at the Vesper Community Center and doors open at 4pm. From 5pm till 7pm the organizers will be providing a smoked meat dinner and sides, (by free will donation) and carry out will be available. $10 raffle tickets are also being sold for the benefit. Raffle prizes include a Bad Boy 42″ Mower, Stihl Weed Eater, StorSmart Tool Box, Louisiana 450 Smoker Grill, Mosberg 243 Rifle, Pork Bundle, chest freezer 2 CVA fuel cards and 2 Beef split sides. There will also be a silent auction from 5pm to 7pm with other donated items. The raffle ticket drawing begins at 7pm followed by announcement of silent auction winners. Winners do not need to be present to win.
