The Memorial Day luncheon and Valor Quilt presentation to area veterans at the Vesper Community Center is Monday, May 26th from 11:30am to 2:00pm. The public is invited to visit and enjoy the fresh made meal while they are traveling through the county, visiting memorial sites. The community center is located at 1247 N 120th Rd in Vesper township, Lincoln KS 67455.
There is no charge for the free will donation meal which is prepared and served by local volunteers. This is the center’s largest fundraiser of the year and donations are especially appreciated.

The Veterans’ presentation is at 12:00pm and the Lincoln County Quilt Guild will be presenting quilts to Jim Lawson, Dan Metz, Victor Suelter, Clayton Lyne, Bill Shirley, Clifford Meyer, Irvin Sigle, Dan Watson, Doug Wilson, Lonnie Reinert, Howard Wehrmann, Jody Sigle, John Wilbeck, and Keith McFall.

This year’s meal features sloppy joes, cheesy potatoes, green beans, and some AMAZING desserts with a choice of beverage. Lots of extra food is being prepared this year, so there will be plenty for everyone to enjoy.
