Volunteers this month removed the old floor and contractors are now visiting and preparing bids for installing the new floor. Removal of the old floor was a massive project and required hundreds of volunteered hours. Grants have been provided by the Post Rock Community Foundation and the Dane G Hansen foundation. The grants along with individual donations from business sponsors and community members are making this project possible. Over $36,000 has been raised and is paying for rental equipment, cleaning supplies, storage, and a professionally installed new floor for the main hall, utility room kitchen and main entrance. It is hoped that the new floor will be installed before May 1st and regular events and activities can fully resume. Due to the ongoing work there was no bingo in March and the April bingo has also been cancelled.
