Farmers & Makers Markets Begin Thursday June 8th in Vesper !


The Vesper Community Center Farmers Market begins this Thursday June 8th and will happen every Thursday from 4pm to 6pm. The Vesper Community Center is located at 1247 N 120th Rd in Lincoln KS 67455 just south of HWY 18 in Vesper. No fees are charged to vendors and the use of tables and chairs inside or outside the facility is free. Admission to the public is free.


Vendors who have signed up so far will be selling locally grown fresh cut peas, raised chicken, eggs, infused honeys, fresh baked mini pies, breads, muffins, cookies, jams & jelly. There will be home cooked lasagna soup for take out. There will be canned goods, fruit filled crescent rolls and other baked goods, and fresh cut flowers. Crafters and other vendors are expected to be offering Mary Kay products, as well as tumblers, earrings, signs, wind spinners, pens, , pot holders, and baby blankets.

A wide variety of farm, garden and small production based products can be sold at farmers markets in Kansas without a food sales license.
