BIG Thanks to everyone who visited Vesper for the Memorial Day Meal and generously donated to the community center and the Vesper Post Office restoration project. Upwards of $2000 was raised and additional donations have been pledged! Big thanks to all the folks who donated desserts- they were DELICIOUS ! Super thanks to volunteers Jodie Wiebke, Denah and Michael Jensen, Linda and John Wrench, Mona and David Gerstmann, Lorelie Dohl and the Hometown Helpers. The memorial day meal takes a lot of volunteer effort, so thanks to everyone who helped organize the event, helped sprayed weeds, mowed, set up the tables and chairs, helped decorate the building, hung the flag, cleaned the floor, donated flowers, shopped, cooked, baked, served the lunch, and everyone who helped clean up afterwards.
