Memorial Day Luncheon May 27th 11:30a-1:30p

The Memorial Day luncheon at the Vesper Community Center is Monday, May 27th from 11:30am to 1:30pm. The public is invited to visit and enjoy the fresh made meal while they are traveling through the county, visiting memorial sites. The community center is located at 1247 N 120th Rd in Vesper township, Lincoln KS 67455.

There is no charge for the free will donation meal which is prepared and served by local volunteers. This is the center’s largest fundraiser of the year and donations are especially appreciated.

For more information, to volunteer for the event or to donate a dessert, call Jodie Wiebke or 785 524 2466, or use the form at https://vespercc.org/memorial-day-luncheon/ Pies, cookies, cakes, brownies, and other desserts are needed.

This year’s meal features sloppy joes, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole, and some AMAZING desserts with a choice of beverage. Lots of extra food is being prepared this year, so there will be plenty for everyone to enjoy.
