Several concrete improvements have been completed with the help of a grant from the Post Rock Community Foundation. Earlier this year four additional handicap parking places were poured in front of the main entrance and connected to the front door ramp. A larger drop off pad was also poured and millings were delivered and spread where it was needed.

Final work on recent concrete improvements were completed in August Handicap signage was added to the concrete parking spots, and a concrete ramp was also poured to connect the storage trailer to the rear entrance of the facility. A concrete pad for the Vesper community dumpster was also poured. These improvements were made possible with the Post Rock Community Foundation grant, individual donations and free labor which was provided by Danny Huehl, Kansas Homes and Movers and other Vesper community center volunteers.
